| About Yagoona Lions F.C. | ||||
The Yagoona Lions Football Club is a locally based club which offers the opportunity for boys, girls, men & women to play soccer within the Bankstown District. The objectives of the Club are to:

Approximately 300 players registered for the 2008 season, ranging from Grade 6 to Men's Over 35's & All Age Ladies. Taking into account parents, grandparents, family members & friends there is an extremely large base of guaranteed sponsor support. Yagoona Lions were successful in reaching the semi-finals in most grades with the following results; |

Due to our overall team placing's, we achieved the status of Bankstown District Amateur Football Association Club Championship Runners-up.
Our playing grounds are situated on the corner of Nobbs & Cooper Roads Yagoona & we currently have 3 full size playing fields allocated for our use during the Winter football season. Bankstown Council has plans for future development of the lighting on the fields so that night matches will be a feasible situation. |
